Our story
Villarreal Knives Edinburg is a family-run workshop where every blade is shaped, hardened, and finished by hand. We build knives for kitchens, campsites, ranches, and collectors who want tools that earn their place for decades.

How we work
Each knife starts as high-carbon steel that we forge, grind, and heat-treat in our Edinburg shop. That process gives our blades the edge retention and toughness that mass-produced alternatives cannot match.
From recycled leaf-spring steel to Damascus pattern welding, we match steel and handle materials to how a knife will actually be used — whether that is breaking down a brisket, clearing brush, or daily kitchen prep.
Our leather rolls, aprons, and sheaths are cut and stitched in-house. Mesquite cutting boards and handle scales are selected for grain and durability, then finished so they age well alongside the blades they accompany.
Every blade is shaped, hardened, and finished by hand.
